Midwest Kendo Federation Promotion Information
**BEGINNING 1/1/2024 Bokuto Ni Yoru Kendo Kihon Waza Keikoho (BKKK) will be a part of 2 kyu and below evaluation. Please see below for more information**
Eligibility -
It is applicants’ responsibility to be a paid member of All United States Kendo Federation at the time of registration.
The following tests will be offered: 6 – 1 Kyu and 1 Dan – 4 Dan
You must be a member of All United States Kendo Federation. To register please visit this site
A member of the other AUSKF regional Kendo Federations from outside of Midwest has to submit Regional Permission Form. The e-mail address to submit regional permission form is mwkfpromotion@gmail.com

-(A) Describe the benefits of the Kendo kata and its
relevance to shinai keiko
-(B) Describe the elements of “yuko-datotsu”
(don’t use this question if answered for sandan)
Essay Form: Utilize the provided essay form or a blank sheet of paper including the same required information.
Menjo Payment -
All applicants who successfully pass the exam must pay the associated Menjo Fees within 14 days of the exam date. If payment not received on time, your exam results will be canceled.
